SATURDAY October 9 IS LAST DAY FOR EARLY REG. Yes one week before the event, days after is $150.
Spectators: $10

Schedule:
Gates Open: 7:00am
Car Tech: 7:30am
Driver’s Meeting: 8:45am
Track Hot: 9:00am
No competition, unless people decide to
Track Cold:500p

Tech notes:
Minimum of 4pt cage w/door bars for tandem
DOT approved helmet, closed toed shoes, and long pants are required for every person in the vehicle
Seat belts and seats must be securely and properly mounted
No loose items inside the vehicle
Firm brake pedal
Working brake lamp is required
Night/rainy events will require working parking and head lights
The windshield must not have any major defects and have a clear area for the driver to see through
Battery secured and all positive terminals covered
No leaking or excessive fluids
No loose engine or suspension parts
All lug nuts must be installed and engage a minimum of 4 threads of the wheel studs
Convertible cars must have roll over protection

Media Pass Info:
If you would like to be allowed in special areas of the track for photos and video please pre-inform me so that you will have access.

We have finally arrived at the promised land…Twin Cities….sorta.
Registration is now open for DD31 at Elko.  This will be our stop for our MWC series, so try it out this time around!
This event will be operated a little differently due to venue rules.
-Gates open: 1000a
-Gates close: 400p
-Off of venue: 500p
-Cost: $115 [driver plus one pit person]
-Spectators: $10
We only have the venue for 4 hours [unfortunately]…so the driver cap will be set at 20 MAX.  With this cap, there will be plenty of seat time so bring yer tires.

The famed Ziptied Allstar Bash makes the first Midwest stop in history.  Come none, come all to witness the slacking, beverage consumption and mega tandem fest sure to ensue.
For those out of towners, here’s some logistics info:

When: June 26 & 27
Where: USA International Raceway Shawano, WI.
About the track: Internationally acclaimed kart track.  Elevation changes, technical mid speed (high 2nd through high 3rd), very tire friendly surface, drifter friendly rumble strips, etc.  Full bathrooms, tech building, reg building, announcer tower, pool, mini karts, shifter karts, carnival games, etc.  Lots of paved parking and paved paddock area.
About the area: Shawano is a small town near Green Bay between St. Paul & Chicago, north of Milwaukee.  USAIR is a mile outside of town where you can find your typical gas stations, fast food, auto parts stores, Wal-Mart, etc.
Accommodations: Check back here but camping has been available on the grounds for a few bucks in the past, I wouldn’t anticipate that changing.  Should go without saying, but please be respectful of the venue if you choose this route.  Our hotels of choice are usually the Kiryat , Best Western or AmercInn, though there are others in town.  Kiryat & Best Western are walking distance from the bar/bowling alley & Perkins.  Google “Shawano Wi Hotels” for their specific info, it comes right up.
Entertainment: We’re sure it has a name, but nobody remembers it.  There’s a bowling alley/bar across from the Kiryat Hotel that has cheap drinks, pool, darts, a dancefloor(?), bowling….and really…what more could you ask for?  They know us, they love us, expect a good time.  If you’re lucky, Stuntman will show up to dance.
Oh yeah, other stuff: See rules and regulations for tech info.  Event format will be very loose.  We can do a little comp, tandem stuff, whatever.  Just drive and have fun.  We are aiming to have stickers, shirts, small prizes and misc things as well.  Spectator entrance is $20 for the wknd.  Drivers get a +1.
REGISTRATION: This is a private event organized and held for www.ziptied.com members, therefore reg at this time is limited to www.ziptied.com members. Pending the number of entrants, stay tuned for expanded registration. That should cover the basics.  So what are you waiting for?  Register.  NOW.  No, really.
