Ok per Dave's request we will have a wheel offset thread. Post your setups, include wheel diameter, width, tire size, camber, caster, overfenders (make sure to list how big they are), use of spacers, and pics.

For starters, if you do not know what offset means Click Here.

Please know that all of those variables I put above will determine whether or not wheels will fit. 1 mm is a very small amount of space, the slightest change in alignment and/or body work can change that number very easy, so there is no perfect offset.

I would like to keep this thread with only posts about your setups, or questions pertaining to the topic, all other will be deleted.

Here is my setup:

Car: S13 Hatch
Wheel Front: 17x9.5 +12 Gram Light 57S (gold) 225/45/17 (in pictures, switching to 235/40/17)
Wheel Rear: 18x9.5 +12 Gram Light 57S (gold) 235/45/18 (in pics, switching to 235/40/18)
Wheel Rear: 18x10 +18 Work Equip (white) 225/40/18 (in pics, swithcing to 235/40/18)
Body Front: 20MM Overfenders
Body Rear: 30mm Overfenders (pushed in a little so they are less than 30mm)
Spacers Front: None
Spacers Rear: None (switching to 15mm)
Camber Front: 3*
Camber Rear: ~2*
Castor: 8*

Car: AE86
Wheel Front: 15x9.0 -15 Work Equip 03
Wheel Rear: 15x9.0 -25 Work Equip 03
Tire Front: 185-195/50
Tire Rear: 185-195/50
Body Front: +20
Body Rear: +35
Spacers Front: 0
Spacers Rear: 15
Camber Front: -4.5
Camber Rear: 0 (solid rear)
Castor: 3.5

QUOTE (MY COMMENTS)
You can also fit 15x9.0 -25 or combination width+offset all around with larger front body mod.

Front inner fender rubbing issues esp near firwall and front bumper. NRCAs will work but RCAs work best to reduce this issue.

Rear poses issue due to the actual upper portion of the rear fender will rub on your tire if car is too low and has soft/low dampening set-up.

All vehicles - take hammer to inner fender seams and flatten.

Feel free to add known vehicles set-ups if all information is available. The main purpose of this thread is to reduce the what wheels will fit on my car, what do you think these will look like on my car, what tires will fit on these rims, who makes these wheels, what wheel looks best on this car, etc etc etc. Questions on these topics should be researched, asked, and answered here... Please note the order in which those are listed. :P

Is this a questions thread as well or just to post your settings?

This thread will be very helpful for some on here. *cough* NICK *cough* and myslef too.

Also it would be helpful to post the brand and model of wheel too. It might cut down on future, "What kind of wheels are these?" threads.

If this is the case:

Car: S13 (hatch)
Wheel Front: 17x7.5 +40 w/ 215/40-17 tires
Wheel Rear: 17x7.5 +40 w/ 225/45-17 tires
Body Front: Stock
Body Rear: Stock
Spacers Front: None
Spacers Rear: None
Camber Front: ~2.5
Camber Rear: ~1.5
Castor: No idea
(Sorry no pics 'cuz this is what i'm looking at doing, but haven't done yet.)

Will this work w/out spacers and w/out any body widening and just rolling?

I only ask because this r the sizes of my old Volks off my old car which was fwd and i'd rather keep them then get rid of them.

Any and all information u guys can provide would b greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jay

Those will be very very sunk. Even spacers will not help those sizes. The offset would have to be something like +10 in the front and +3 in the rear to make them flush.

And 17x 7.5 is very narrow and will look like pizza cutters on your S13. 17" should be like 9" wide. I would look for new wheels if I were you.

I don't know everything about wheels... but those offsets are going to be way too high... and the wheels aren't THAT wide... you'd probably need some HUGE spacers for those...

EDIT: Damn it mel, you beat me to it!

WTF Sam, I will sooooooooooo buy your equips haha if you ever wanted to sell them.

And yes this is a questions and setups only thread.

Don't bother with 7.5s unless you are going for the 15/16 look.
